My students have persevered and have been determined to succeed. This is a celebration of learning and growth in the subject of reading, writing, and math. Three times during the school years our students are tested and for the final of the three, the reward is to play hard at Dollywood.
We worked hard and now it is time to play hard! This event will celebrate the hard work and learning that my students put in throughout the school year. It will reward those who passed the third benchmark and give them the experience of a lifetime.
Many of my students do not have the opportunity to travel outside of their neighborhoods and by taking them to Dollywood, it will not only celebrate learning, but it will also give them an experience of a lifetime. It will show them that hard work does pay off and is rewarded at times. This will reinforce their learning matters!
