Receiving these fraction manipulatives will help my students to better understand fractions and fraction equivalency. This project will fund my students their very own set of fraction cubes instead of having to share in a small group. The cubes make it more concrete for my students as they tackle learning this skill. It will be nice for each student to be able to touch them. The cubes allow them the freedom to be creative and discover which fractions are equal to other fractions. These cubes in particular have the fraction, percent, and decimals to show them other ways of showing the same amount.
