I teach kindergarten, first, and second grade all in one classroom at the same time. Our school is called an outlaying school which is a small school in a rural setting. I have from 18-24 awesome students. They come from economically and socially disadvantaged families that is usually supported by one parent. They come to school everyday so excited and eager to learn. Our classroom is in an old trailer house. We do a lot of whole group learning and need a new carpet as our floor is only a cold tiled floor. My students love to read, write, and do math at the carpet but our old carpet is no longer usable. They will either need to stay their desk or sit on a cold floor. My class is made up of future, doctors, lawyers, football players, dancers, nurses, police officers, teachers, and many other future leaders. They deserve the best education that I can give them. I am very blessed to be their teacher.
