My project is to provide my students with technology in the classroom to allow them to access the curriculum and become more independent.
The Echo Dot will allow my students to use their AAC devices to say "Hey Alexa, What is the Weather", or "Hey Alexa, call mom", it will allow them to have their first phone conversations, giving them independence to call relatives, friends and even order delivery!
The switches and switch activated games allow my students to participate in classroom activities that they would not normally be able to participate in due to low verbal and low motor skills. This gives them the opportunity to interact with their peers and classmates!
Thank you in advance for your contribution!
