Having two classroom iPads would enable my students to have daily practice with the iPads at a center at least once a week as they rotate through classroom center rotations. Each student would have an opportunity to learn and play creatively with the Osmo in both reading and math.
Students will become more technology savvy as they use the iPads in centers each day to practice needed basic skills in a fun way. The iPads would be placed at a center with the Osmo as part of our rotation schedule during our reading intervention time and small group time for two or three students to work with. They will also be used for students to take daily reading quizzes on and as a research tool when needed.
Students would also practice learning cooperatively as some activities with the Osmo are partner games. And finally my class would begin to get the most use from our generously donated Osmos!
