My kindergarteners thrive on dramatic play and it is used throughout the year to help students learn and practice their social and language skills. This Pretend & Play Market and Real-Working Cash Register will allow my students the opportunity to practice real life skills in the classroom. Students will be able to use the pretend food to help with their sorting skills, reinforce their addition and subtraction skills and identify the different types of food. Currently my students do not have a functioning home center in our classroom and this would allow them the experience. This market will be an incredible addition to our classroom!
