My class is in need of a more engaging book area. I am looking to provide an inviting and relaxing book area that will encourage my students to spend more time there. The Help Yourself Book Stand and the Comfy Floor Seats will allow them to sit comfortably and enjoy the books. The storytelling boards and the storytelling kits will allow children to retell some of their favorite stories. These materials will help my students with their literacy, language and comprehension skills. Becoming familiar with reading concepts early, determines later success. I want my students to be ready for kindergarten and to develop a love of books and reading. Offering them many opportunities and different ways to interact with books is my goal.
