I work directly with a diverse body of students from varying ethnic and economic backgrounds. Our school, boasting a population of over 2,000 students, maintains student-centric policies geared towards experience and connecting with the community at large. Many of our students come from homes where the cost of supplies and technology is too great to enjoy access. Mitigating our large population of students who need an education to reflect the world we live in and the deficit of access to technology is a special challenge for our school. Our staff does its best to advocate for our students, though with our textbooks growing older and older, it is becoming obvious that increasing the eco-friendly alternative to copy machine print outs is the path to the future for our students to experience a quality education. Access to basic classroom resource is another challenge - please consider aiding our students!
