Welcome!. I am a special education teacher at a Title 1 school (this means that at least 70% of our students are eligible to receive free and reduced lunch). I work with students in grades kindergarten through sixth grade. My students are impacted by a diverse range of disabilities: dyslexia, ADHD, Down's syndrome, autism, emotional disturbance, sensory processing disorder, and intellectual disability. Some of my students come from situations of homelessness, significant poverty, domestic violence, and parent incarceration. I provide a range of services for my students: academic interventions, curriculum modification, assistive technology, sensory regulation, behavior plans, and parent/child advocacy. I want to help my students become emotionally strong, academically capable, and equipped to persevere through difficulty. Thank-you for stopping by my webpage.
