My students will utilize the classroom rug by being able to sit in their spot during whole group time and during shared reading. Students will utilize the CD players by listening to books on cd to help build fluency and to hear books being read. Also during brain breaks we will utilize the carpet with the alphabet. We will use the carpet for games and activities. They will be able to utilize all of the games and activities by using them in independent stations, using hands on experiences. Beginning, middle, and ending sound games will help build on their phonics as they work independently in stations. Also rhyming games. The simple addition and subtraction games will continue to help the student build on number sense while practicing addition and subtraction. The counting puzzles and games will continue to build counting using manipulatives while working with other students. Our class will use the ten frame magnetic set whole group while building number sense. Students will use the making ten and patterning games in guided math or in small groups as intervention tools. They will also utilize the leveled library so that each student will be able to read on their own reading level. The leveled library is important because it will reach each individual student at their ability level.
