We do small group rotations where we read stories together to help students practice how to read aloud and learn from others. Students work together to answer questions about what they have read. This is always a great learning experience and a time for growth.
Think-Pair-Share strategies are used often when I team up 2-4 students in groups to explore what they are reading in more detail. We also do silent reading and I would like relevant topics to read and discuss with my students in order to better engage them.
