The school in which I work is the only "primary" school in the district, catering to students grades Pre-K to 2. The children in my classroom live and go to school in an urban community. Students are provided breakfast and lunch daily. Many of the students come to school for the first time with little to no English. Even with learning their second language, the students in my classroom are eager to learn.
