Students will be afforded the opportunity to enhance the application process while simultaneously learning how to create and build a digital network. With the Digital Media Mix initiative students will learn how to turn their ideas into campaigns and audio/video productions that incorporate student voice and choice elements. The added elements of digital media, college, and career exploration, social/emotional and 21st Century learning to foster collaboration, innovation, and leadership will prepare students to become a competitive staple in the digital age. The media mindset will challenge students to expand their learning via Genius Hour service-learning project development, digitalized Socratic Seminars, Philosophical Debates and websites, flyers, online portfolios, and special interest TED-Ed Club implementations will be intertwined to establish distance learning framework. The A/V equipment and digital resources will be used to enhance the educational journey. No more will the content be blanketed or extra handouts are required. We will break away from the mundane and create a unique experience for each individual learner.
