The beanbags seats will allow my students to go to the library and read. I want my students to have a love of reading and be able to go on all different adventures through the books they read. Curling up with a good book is an awesome way to help foster the love of reading for my students in first grade.
Do you remember that feeling when you were able to read your first book?
Well that feeling is exactly what I want for my students. I want to work with them in guided reading groups then let them practice what they've learned when they read independently. The bean bags will allow them a comfy space to do just that.
