All of the materials requested will be used in the daily learning of my kindergarteners in both math and literacy. Practicing math skills and literacy skills with manipulatives will help make complex ideas more concrete. This will allow my students different and more engaging ways to practice their math and reading skills independently or in small groups during centers. I am now moving classrooms and would like to build my classroom library. I want to build my students love of reading at an early age. I want to have a set of books for my students to read and enjoy as their reading levels change. I have also added some nice party favors for my treasure box! Kids love to win prizes and it’s a way to motivate them.
