My students are at an exciting age, eager to explore and learn. My students enjoy hand-on activities, working independently, with partners, and in small groups. One of their favorite activities during the day is our math and literacy center time. They are able to complete a variety of activities at their interest and academic level, while working cooperatively with their peers. One of their favorite activities is learning through various iPad apps and projects. My students love to use technology as a learning tool, and as their teacher I have been determined to find ways to bring additional tools and activities into the classroom. My class of 17 kindergarten students is one of nine sections in our kindergarten/early childhood setting.
