When I was a student in elementary school, I loved learning! I remember writing stories with classmates, voraciously reading in the library, and learning to love art. As a teacher, my aspiration is to be an inspiration to my students. I hope to instill in my students a lifelong love of learning. One of the biggest compliments that I have received is when a student says that they want to be a teacher when they grow up. I think that the teachers of today help mold and shape students attitude toward not only education but also toward, success, achievement, and perseverance.
I have been a 1st grade teacher for most of my teaching career. Teaching 1st grade is very challenging but also very rewarding. I love the vitality and exuberance shown by my 1st graders everyday. They come to school with excitement and energy. My priority is to show them that I am as excited as they are.....to teach them!
