I teach Kindergarten at a title one school. We are 78% free and reduced lunch. We currently have 137 Kindergarten students and six teachers. I have 22 students in my classroom, 16 of which are served through the ESOL program. The majority of my students live in poverty. School is a safe place where we hope they are able to learn through fun and engaging activities. These activities can be a much needed escape from the daily struggles they face at home.
