My upper elementary students will have an opportunity to learn and play the ukulele. While some music programs offer guitar, the Diamond Head DU-10 Soprano Ukulele are a great starting place for smaller hands. Plus, the students will love all of the different color options! It is important to offer a variety of music-making opportunities, on a variety of instruments, to help students explore music and be successful. These instruments will be a wonderful addition to the music room and the music program at our school, continuing the music literacy work started on recorders and other instruments! I look forward to exploring all the ways we can use them in our school community once they arrive.
