I work with 150 diverse students, many of whom are newcomers to The United States. My students are focused on developing their English language skills while adjusting to a new country and school system. In class, we focus on listening, speaking, reading, and writing, using various strategies to meet different learning needs. I work alongside content-area teachers to ensure students can engage with the curriculum while building their language proficiency and confidence.
