The use of a teacher easel is the focal point for whole group activities (such as phonics, literacy, math, etc.). It would be a game changer to have an easel with all of the tools I need for every lesson each day! I am currently taking pictures on my personal phone and running to the pharmacy (almost daily) to have pictures printed to post in the hallway and within the classroom. This is becoming very costly, but I definitely want to continue snapping their amazing learning adventures. My students love seeing themselves in pictures and it is highly motivational! I just moved to this classroom and organization is minimal right now. I would love a student "mailbox" center where my students can go place their work. These mailboxes will give ownership to the students and encourage them to be organized!
