During my year of substitute teaching, I learned that teaching is my calling. Even on the roughest days, I was grateful to see the students each morning. I have been adamant about setting up these projects so that every student has the necessities to learn in the classroom. While I've spent hundreds of my own dollars, funding an entire classroom is a "little" out of my budget!
As a first year teacher starting from scratch, I cannot communicate just how grateful I was for your donations and your investment in my students. Now in my third year, every funded project has been a blessing. Every dollar has ensured that all students had pencils, erasers, markers, rulers, and kleenex when they needed it.
