I teach in a smaller district with three elementary schools. My school has 59% poverty. I currently have four special ed. students and four students who are deaf or hard of hearing. I have an interpreter in the classroom that is fabulous and shares many of the same beliefs that I do. I love teaching them and watching them grow and make connections. I try to find a balance between learning, making personal connections and having fun.
