Students are able to see themselves in the books they read. They love books that represent them and their stories. Diverese books help everyone understand each other. Students check-out books each week and your donations helped transform their choices!
Representation in books empowers and supports students' academic success.My goal is that students see themselves in the books they read. Our population is wonderfully diverse and thus our books should be as well. Diverse books give students an opportunity to read about lives different than theirs. Diverse books will help all of my readers. Thank you so very much for helping my students see themselves as the successful and smart scholars they are with books and imaginative play that open doors and windows.â€
