My students are the average high school students in grades 9 - 12. The highlight of their day is coming to Environmental Science and then going outside to the garden area to check on their experimental plants in the garden. In their reviews of the class at the end of last year they stated that they thought it would be boring but they soon realized that it was fun to actually see their seeds sprout and watch their plants grow. This year we are adding to the garden and trying to improve the soil. Last summer the students donated over 50 lbs of fresh vegetables to the local food banks.
