Welcome to the Ms. Ford's Science Class! We are working together toward our goal of reading, writing, analyzing & organizing, and caring like scientists.
The school where I teach serves the Hmong community in the Midwest. Most of our families fled refugee camps in Thailand for a better life in America. Parents and children understand that education is the cornerstone of building a better life. All of my students dream big and almost all plan to attend college. They face obstacles to their success--but they are strong and determined. They will work hard to read, write, analyze, and experiment better than students at well-resourced schools. As a teacher, I must give them the rigorous science education that they need to shine. My students deserve the best. Let's give them the best.
