As much as the world has changed over the last 100 years our classrooms look the same for the most part, our school being a over a hundred years old itself, definitely feels traditional. I want to make one more small step into the 21st century in my classroom. If I want to help my students learn to apply skills of the next generation they need to practice.
I want to provide my students a classroom that promotes these skills, by creating group work stations where students can collaborate, critical think and problem solve. These projectors would help to create two additional stations in the classroom that will allow students to share as they work through their labs, quizzes, and videos.
Students ability to present to small groups is an important part of collaboration. Students working together on problems will help them build their problem solving skills and their ability to critically think.
