I began this project in August and have acquired 20 of this same calculator and need 30 more to complete the set. I have acquired through Wayne RESA the TI Navigator system to work with the 30 calculators so that they will all communicate with my laptop wirelessly. I have acquired the other 20 through grants and donations. With these calculators I can push questions to each student and collect individual answers, view student work, project the student work, etc. all wirelessly. This is the last stage of what I have even working on for almost nine months now. I am especially eager to use these as a tool for formative assessment with all student submitting their answer anonymously as we work. I can quickly collect the data and know immediately to move on or review. This 125 students this will reach is annually. Additionally, I will pass on my current technology to another teacher so that they can upgrade their TI 84's to TI Nspires.
