Welcome friends. I am a high school Librarian in a school of 2,500 students (9th-12th Grade). We are located in an area whose population is slowly changing and the needs of our students grow each year. In the current financial climate for education, money is tight, and all educators are scrambling to meet the needs of their students. That is why we need your help. It is my hope to prepare students our students for the 21st century with technology and tools that they may not have access to at home. Through these initiatives, I hope to keep them engaged in education and learning, helping them to build better futures. At present, our school does not qualify for special government funding or grants that are set aside for low income schools because we are in that in-between space where the need is there, but the government threshold hasn't quite been met. Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated. THANK YOU.
