As an elementary level exceptional education teacher, I must constantly find ways to keep my students engaged and excited. Daily, I am charged with many responsibilities from teaching, to counseling to giving high fives and hugs. My students, although amazing, are not only faced with academic challenges but environmental challenges as well.
I just want to give my students the best I can give! I want them to have everything they need to be successful. Many mornings my students come in tired from the night before. Although excited to learn, they are oftentimes unable to stay alert long enough to receive the lesson being taught. The old fashioned way of seating... plastic chairs allow my students to comfortably rest their heads on their desk and drift off into la la land.
I would like to introduce Wobble Stools and Bitty Bottom Cushion Seats to my students who struggle to stay awake in class. Both are designed to engage the core and the brain. Both allow for a smoother and more sensory experience. Seat cushions would be perfect for my students who need to wiggle, fidget and move. It can be used on the floor, in a chair, or anytime. These stools and cushions will improve balance, flexibility and circulation. They will also help with focus and concentration.
