Because of Covid-19, teachers cannot combine student supplies (community supplies), as most of teachers normally do. The pandemic is forcing teachers to think more outside of the box than we normally would have to. Seat sacks, pencil boxes, and flexible seating options are great ways to help keep student supplies and bodies separated while in the school building. Flexible seating options give students the autonomy to sit anywhere in the classroom and still have the opportunity to learn. The seat sacks and pencil boxes help keep all of the student supplies separate from other students to prevent any unnecessary cross-contamination.
