Our school is in a brand new building, with a ton of amazing technology! However, we are short on supplies. As a new Inquiry-Based Learning school serving the Cleveland area, we are striving to give students a more engaging and student-centered education that incorporates more projects, hands-on activities, and authentic student interests. Our students have just as much of a future as any student, from any zip code, provided they are given the opportunity to develop their innate talents and interests. These supplies will allow me to give students the opportunity to develop scientific thinking, mathematical and engineering skills, and enhance their collaboration. No student, in this technological age, should be without the necessary tools to succeed and experience the world of science and technology. So often this subject area is blocked to low-income students by the high cost of technology and supplies.
