Our elementary school is a public school that is 90% free or reduced lunches. Budgets have been cut and the art room is thriving on recycled or borrowed goods (crayons, scissors, games, etc.) My students love coming to art. They are energetic and willing to learn. Through our projects students have an opportunity to feel successful, pride, and accomplished.
