Fun in first! Fantastic first! First grade frenzy! That is my life as a first grade teacher. My students are determined, dedicated, and diverse. I work at a TITLE I school. The majority of the students are language learners and come from low economic homes. The hands on, project based, one to the world activities in the classroom allows my students to discover topics they otherwise wouldn't have access to. Access to technology is key in making these experiences happen. Unlimited access to technology in the classroom will expand and develop their language skills as well as giving them unlimited opportunities to connect with the world around them.
