I am a first year teacher trying to build my own classroom library. I was handed down some wonderful books from a retired teacher but most of these books are outdated. I want to build a classroom library that is diverse so all my students and future students can feel included. Whether or not my students will be allowed to physically touch these books, they will still get to listen and see the illustrations of these book from my read aloud videos on our google classroom. I know these wonderful books will keep my students engaged, entertained and encourage virtually and in person for years to come!
