In my 20+ years of teaching, I have learned that students learn best when given CHOICES....what book to read, what math station to go to, what science project to complete, etc...And now I strongly believe that their learning only increases when given the chance to CHOOSE the type of seating that works best for them. True, some students will prefer/work best at a traditional desk & chair, but most, when given the choice, love things like cushions, wobble seats & scoop rockers. I've been fortunate to have a few of those items available recently & I hope to add more!
