As a Title I elementary school, many students do not have access to necessary materials that the students need to have a happy and healthy education.
In such a diverse and culturally varied school, my goal is to make my 65 students feel unified and to create a sense of belonging all while being part of the school community. All of my projects are aimed to address the socio-emotional aspect of my students as well as being culturally responsive.
I want all students who enter my classroom to feel like they can be who they want to be and express themselves creatively, especially for those students who have challenging home situations and issues in learning. I want them to be able to create decorations, use technology for assingments, and participate in school wide events without feeling like it may be to hard for their families or they cannot afford to be involved financially.
Help me bridge the gap!
