I teach math for a middle school located in east Las Vegas, that serves a very large geographical area. As a result, my students' math abilities vary greatly. Their families' socioeconomic status range from homeless to affluent. O'Callaghan Learning Academy is a STEM magnet school. We do not get extra funding to buy teaching resources for our students. We are always in need of common math tools such as rulers, compasses, protractors, pencils, scissors, and notebooks.
