My students need books to fill our classroom library. Students will be able to borrow the books from our classroom library. They will read the books during independent reading and at home. Having a variety of material to read in the classroom will allow students the opportunity to understand and connect to others. Classroom lessons will teach students the strategies and skills to navigate through these books thinking deeply about what they are reading and what connections these texts give them with the world. The books for our classroom library will help my current students and students for years to come as they will be a part of our classroom library.
