By providing Kindle Fire Tablets, students will be able to learn the technology that they will be expected to know how to use in future grade levels. We have applications that are differentiated to each student's level that they would use on the tablets. Students in all grades adapt well to technology, and by having a touchscreen tablet in their hands, they would be more apt to getting their work done in a fun way, rather than using paper and pencil.
Technology resources at school should be the same or better than what students have available at home. I work in a Title 1 school, so majority of my students do not have any technology at home. By supplying them with these tablets, that would give more students access to greater information at their own fingertips, encouraging their imagination to run wild!
