Books are essential to teaching our students literacy. We're proud that the children in our class enjoy reading! Providing our students with more books to read will offer them many learning opportunities. Giving the students different books to read will help them stay interested in reading and also encourage them to try new things, a skill that would be great for our students with autism to practice.
Games related to reading and writing would greatly assist our students in learning literacy. If our kids are having fun, they are more likely to attend to the activity and soak up literacy skills!
