Paper, stapler, glue sticks, and pencils. All typical and easy to remember items. As educators, we take a lot on to provide for our students. Whether it be typical supplies or not, we need to have all items ready to go in an instant. One more set of head phones, a silver marker for labeling black folders or a cordless glue gun just because it's easier than tangling with a cord. It's the little odds and ends that seem to have the biggest impact when you need it the most.
I would love to have a year that I do not hear myself say: "Oh, I wish I had...." in any instance. I hope to have thought of all items needed and to have an extra or two for backup.
