Our Partner P.E. & Peer Coach class consists of 38 students. In Partner PE, Functional Living Skills students are assisted in PE by their Peer Coach. Peer Coaches are general ed. students, who have shown interest in their special needs peers.
The primary focus of the Partner P.E. program is to meet the educational needs of the students w/disabilities, and in the process, increase social skills & build esteem. Both students meet daily for the entire school year. Credit for serving as a one-on-one teacher assistant to their 'partner'.

In this class 92% are economically disadvantaged, 16 SPED, 90% receive assistance w/their reading & language skills. 19 of the 38 are at-risk of not completing high school.
