The majority of my students come from low-income/high-poverty homes. Access to technology and the outside world is very limited, if any at all. In order to overcome this, I would like to setup virtual labs where my students can become Scientists and get hands-on experience in the classroom.
In order for students to be successful in life, they must have opportunities to interact with technology and have the ability to publish their findings.
Class assignments are set up through Google classroom. Students will be responsible for participating in Virtual labs which will help them with the process of Scientific Inquiry, publishing their findings and also using the Internet to develop their research skills to enhance the inquiry process.
These Chromebooks will help my students throughout life, not just in the classroom! Thank you!
