I have 22 bright kindergarten students who are enthusiastic learners. They come from many different walks of life. With my class being in North Carolina, several are military families that stay for a brief period of time before getting orders to go elsewhere. My class is made up of many students who are served through our free lunch program. Of my 22 students, I have many that are reading below grade level. About half of my students are being served by our English as a Second Language Program. Their parents speak little or no English. It is hard for these students to get help at home. As you can see, I have a lot of varying needs that I must meet on a daily basis. My students strive to do their best. I am trying to find as many resources as I can and make them available to help my students be the best they can be!
