This is the first year that STEM has been offered as a separate class in the rotation. I am building the program from the ground up! I am looking to make bins that students can go to if they finish an activity early, or that can be turned into fun centers. I want to provide my students with opportunities that they have not been previously provided with.
The pre-k through 2nd grade students can use the Osmo activities with Ipads to learn about various STEM related topics. 3rd through 5th can use the SnapCircuits to learn about electricity and different types of circuits. All of the students can benefit from the engineering activities, such as the brain flakes and Keva blocks.
When the students come into my classroom, I would like for them to be constantly engaged and learning, from the time they enter until they leave!
