My students attend a small school in South Los Angeles, CA where the poverty level is extremely high. All of them receive free lunch because of their socio-economic level. They are first graders with enthusiasm for learning. Many are from single parent homes. While their parents or guardians do their best to provide, many of them do not have access to technology. The school desires to provide them with an education that will allow them to compete globally. These students can only dream globally because presently their world encompasses only a few city blocks. Our school has many needs with technology being one of the most extreme.
