My school is a Title I school that prides itself on its extreme diversity. With 1 in 4 families being from a different country, there are multiple learners and learning styles in one classroom. Half of my students in my classroom are English-Language Learners. This can make teaching challenging, yet innovative. Every child learns differently and need to be engaged in the classroom. Without the proper materials, it is very difficult for children to learn and fully understand numbers, letters, and words. My students work very hard every day and overcome many obstacles in their own learning. If they had more materials to use in the classroom, I believe that they will show so much more growth in their learning.
