My students are a lively and inquisitive bunch of 6th, 7th and 8th graders who love to dive head first into new things. Included are students with autism, emotional disturbances, learning disabilities and English language learners. Yet, they have all been identified as intellectually gifted. Their backgrounds are as diverse as their gifts but they all love to try something new. They ask endless questions to learn how things work. They love being presented with problems to find creative solutions. And they thrive on a challenge.
