This project will help my students understand their changing bodies and emotions and embrace who they are with confidence. Keeping their bodies clean is an important part of keeping the students healthy and helping them to to feel good about themselves. Students must feel good about themselves to intrinsically motivate themselves to do well.
They are in need of toothpaste, soap, deodorant and snacks because they live in low socioeconomic areas. Students have expressed their needs for these items. I would like my students to feel confident about coming to school and being a part of the school's community. I know students will be happy to have these products.
